Description:
Winchester Model 70 SN # 172886. Up for sale is a very clean Winchester Model 70 made in 1950 and chambered in .257 Roberts. This rifle is unfired and still carries some factory grease in and around the chamber area. At some point the bolt had been installed in the rifle and then removed. I have owned this rifle since the early 70s and have only removed it from the box from time to time to wipe a light coat of lemon oil on the stock and metal. Boxed Winchesters of any pre-64 models are becoming more and more difficult to acquire. No Calif. buyers please. Add 50.00 freight and insurance.
