An old Western S.A. pocket revolver with simple chisel engraving on both flats , each side now with some fading and wear, and a star on each cyinder flat . Has natural MOP grips with the right grip having a flake at the top, but soild and not repaired. The barrel of 3 1/4" on this .38 caliber revolver has an address of: STANDARD 1878. Cylinder indexes most of the time with the muzzle down, with lock-up good some slight over bank, Not a shooter as these were early black powder guns of the old west..Has most of original nickle finish, A colorful Western revolver.When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting.
