Description:
Rarely found a 416 in C grade (cumstom shop gun). Distinquished by the redwood forend tip, pg cap and unmarked barrels this gun has uncoomonly strait figured wood for a C grade likley to discourage cracking under the farily heavy recoil. The blue and all metal is very nearly 100% cond. There are a number of light handling marks on the stock but no damage; likely a little application of true oil would address these modest marks.
This unique gun is belived to have been made in Nov. 1989.
The cal is a banger; known for great trajectory, and power this gun is capable of handling any game on the planet. Although its a bit on the heavy side it might be comforting to have this while hunting other game in Grizzley Country where a bear may be coming in to your elk, deer or moose kill. The balistics are a little better than a 375 H&H.
The excellent Bausch & Lomb 1 1/2 x 6 Elite model 4000 make it an ideal companion for dangerous game and this rifle, is NOT included but is available for an additon 175.00.
