Designed to have no visible pins or screws, built like a bank vault, with the fit & finish of a fine watch. This particular model is the “Medium” size, for chambering up to a .416 Rigby cartridge ($3500USD on Martin Hagn's ). Never barreled or stocked, extractor uncut, as new, perfect condition. Includes two standard roller safeties, one straight knurled, one diamond pattern, which could be easily hand checkered. A rare opportunity to acquire one of these fine actions without international shipping charges, import duties/permits*, back order delays, etc., at 10% below current retail. Start that dream rifle today! *An acquaintance ordered an action from Martin Hagn in Canada LAST OCTOBER, paid the $300 application fee and is STILL WAITING for an import permit.
NOTE: This is an original classic model with the crowned/domed receiver ring. Custom metalsmiths often re-contour the sides of the ring to eliminate the 'hump' in the side panel and make a more graceful transition, while bringing that top line down to the high water mark of the barrel. New actions now have a plain, flat cylindrical receiver ring and a straight line along the action side. In other words, you can’t get ‘em like this anymore. (Last photo is my own custom design, but as years went by I lost interest in the project. You're welcome to it.)
