Description:
1894 SADDLE RING CARBINE IN SCARCE .25-35 CALIBER, #414XXX, MADE 1908. This fine condition carbine shows about half good blue on the receiver sides with the balance mixing with some brown and gray. There is fine blue on the bolt and loading gate and the screws appear unturned. The barrel shows fine blue with some light wear/thinning on the forward top section that is minor and still retains blue. The mag tube shows fine deep blue. Forend is excellent and the butt stock shows only normal handling marks with tight wood to metal fit. Tight action, excellent bore and the barrel is fitted with a three leaf express sight with all the leaves intact. This one came out of Arizona. Fine 113 year old saddle ring carbine in a desirable caliber.
