Description:
Remington model 1148 field in 410 gauge. Built in 1957, this gun is in super all original condition. It retains 98% of the original blue finish and 98%+ of the original wood finish. The 25" barrel is choked the hard to find improved cylinder. The bore is mint and free of rust or pitting. The stock and forend are free of any cracks or damage and have sharp well defined checkering. The gun retains the oroginal Remington buttplate and the original wooden magazine plug. The gun is chambered to fire 3" or shorter shells. Now that Remington has closed, Remington guns in good condition like this have become very collectible. This one would make a great preserve gun or a fun dove gun if you don't mind a few misses. You just don't find many small bore 1148s in this condition any more. C&R eliglble.
