Custom rifle by Vic Olson, 22/250 based on an original Obendorf Mauser single shot action. Ths action is marked Mauser-Werke A. G. Obendorf A/N and is a very rare action.
The rifle is in as new condition. It has a 24 inch barrel, weights 8.4 pound, custom scope bases, two panel checkered bolt, Timney trigger with a custom trigger piece, a two position safety, steel grip cap and butt plate. The stook is of nice European walnut with a slight Monte Carlo and cheek piece, plus a forend tip.
An excellent rifle by a classic maker. Vic Olson worked for Browning Arms in Missouri before starting his custom career.
