Savage model 99A "Saddle Gun" in 250-3000 Savage. Built in 1961,the last year of production for the 250-3000 Savage. This rifle is in outstanding all original condition. It retains 98%+ of the original blue and wood finishes. The 20" barrel has a mint bore with sharp well defined rifling. Other features include: factory drilled and tapped for scope mounts,top tang safety, cartridge counter,cocking indicator,case hardened lever, factory steel buttplate,original open sights,sling swivels,and walnut stock and forend. this rifle has a Leupold one piece base installed. The stock is sound and free of any cracks or damage. This is a high condition 99 in a great caliber. A great rifle for the shooter or collector. C&R eliglble.
