"U.S. Model 1842 Percussion Pistol. U.S. Model 1842 percussion pistol .54 caliber with an 8 ½" barrel. Metal has a grey patina with areas of surface pin prick pitting. Lock plate is dated 1852. Stock is good, crack is noted at the rear of the lock plate and side plate screw. Cartouches are present. Good looking 1842 Percussion pistol.
