Description:
VERY RARE caliber Winchester Model 70. This is a GENUINE 250-3000 Savage! S/N 119*** with matching bolt made in 1949. All of the unique internal components are present, have been carefully inspected by myself, and are 100% guaranteed to be Winchester factory issue. There is the #7 magazine box, # 5 ejector, and correct bolt stop collar with an "S" stamp on back. The bore is minty and mechanics are all functioning properly and smoothly. This rifle does show some signs of careful use and light wear over the years, but presents very well in hand and I would rate the original finishes at about 95%. The insides are spotless and look nearly new. Truly a great rifle that doesn't come along too often, especially in this legitimate, clean, and unaltered condition.
