Original WW II era Japanese Gunto issued to officers of the Imperial Army or Navy. Sometimes referred to as a Katana or Samurai sword.. Overall condition is excellent. The blade has never been ground or sharpened. The original polish marks remain. Overall length is 39" or 100 cm the sword blade is approx. 24" or 60 cm.
