This Colt was produced in 1943. The pistol's serial number is 569662. It has the U.S. Property stamp on the frame. This Colt was issued to B.G, Elmer Parker Yates on 9/29/1966. General Yates graduated second in his class in 1941 at West Point. He led a stellar career in the Army! He retired as a Major General. This person is worth looking up on Google! It is a great read! This Colt is in near new condition. It appears to have been never fired. The bore and chamber is in minty condition. The Slide rails show no real wear from operating or firing this pistol. The slide is correctly serial numbered to the frame. The original finish would rate a 99% overall condition The wood grips are also in unused condition. The magazine is a correct Colt all blued magazine. This Colt 1903 32 A.C.P. is a original General Officers issued pistol in unused condition!  Search for hlvfineguns on google for more details.
