Here is an opportunity to own a piece of true Montana history. Conrad Kohrs, one of Montana's most well-known and largest cattle ranchers/cattle barons of his time. He was known as the Montana Cattle King.
For sale are some of Conrad Kohrs personal items that include his Colt 1873 SAA revolver that was returned to the Colt factory for conversion from .44/40 to .44 Special. Some of his other items are leather winter cuffs, and wool kid Angora chaps. All these items were passed down through the Kohrs family until the Kohrs family estate was sold at a public sale in 1993 following the death of Conrad Warren, a direct descendant of Conrad Kohrs.
Documentation and provenance include a Colt Factory Historical Letter, family documentation, and pictures, along with the paperwork showing the items for sale here and many more that were sold at the estate sale.
A breakdown of the condition of the items for sale are as follows:
Colt 1873 SAA in .44 Special caliber.... 90% condition. All serial numbers match. See photo.
Leather winter cuffs in very good condition. Still very supple.
Angora chaps are also in great condition, still very soft and supple.
