AN ORIGINAL NEW YORK STYLE ENGRAVED - 3RD. MODEL RUSSIAN REVOLVER, WITH A 6.5 inch barrel.
Serial # 39935 is all matching. Fine condition - Handsome, Bold, typical period New York style engraving, a bit lighter on the cylinder, which may have been re-nickeled at some time in the past. Small brown spots where the nickel has flaked attesting to the legitimate age of finish and engraving. Good markings including the Schuyler Hartley diamond SH on the butt. Good mechanically, dirty bore with strong rifling. Nicely yellowed Old Ivory grips shows strong, dark grain, and have shrunken with age. 100% ORIGINAL NEW YORK STYLE ENGRAVING.
