Description:
S&W model 35 .22 lr revolver.  The Model 35 is the target version of the “.22/32 Target Model Of 1953” also known as the .22 kit gun.  All model 35’s had 6” barrel, 6-shot square butt frames and they were made from 1953-1973.  The first ones (1953-57) had no model number and they were made on the modified “I” frame. In 1957 the model number 35 was added inside of the frame and still made on the modified “I” frame until sometime during or just after 1959 when they became model 35-1’s made on the “J” frame.  Making this gun is among the last model 35’s built on the “I” frame.   Made in 1958/59.

It retains 97% original blue finish with a little muzzle wear, slight trigger guard edge wear and a few “dings” on the top right side of the frame and on the barrel near the frame.  Great case colors remain on the hammer and on the trigger.

The original grips were replaced with what appears to be older Herret target grips that feel great in the hand.
