Description:
For your consideration we have a near as-new, and highly sought after, Japanese made, Browning BSS 12 gauge shotgun produced in 1972. The gun has 28" barrels with Full and Modified fixed chokes. The bores are perfect. Boxlock action with strong and well timed ejectors, a single, non selective trigger and automatic safety. The bluing on this gun is nearly 100% as from the factory. There are minor handling marks on the stock near the toe and on the beavertail forearm. There is a dent in the wood on the RH side behind the receiver as shown in pictures. Beyond that the wood is in very good condition. I am told that the gun was bought new and never fired. The gun has minimal wear marks on the forearm iron from assembly. The gun weighs in at 7lbs 8ozs. There is plenty of wall thickness, especially with Mod and Full chokes, for someone to add screw in chokes for a very versatile gun. The gun comes with the original box, which I will pack separately as it is fragile. There are also some original pamphlets, as shown, included.
