Description:
General Specs: Marlin, Year 1896, .25-20, 7lb 6oz, LOP 13 1/4"
Serial Number: 143157

Marlin differed from its contemporaries in that the Marlin was side-ejecting, which provided better protection from weather and debris encountered on the hunt.
The 1894 has an improved two part firing pin for added safety and a new single piece trigger that takes away any slack for a clean break. At its time of introduction the 1894 was the only .25 caliber repeater on the market and a 24" octagonal barrel would cost $1.50 more than a standard!

This Marlin 1894 is a fine beauty and just waiting for a trip to the field or range. Gently loved, it sports a full length octagonal barrel with 98% factory original finish, vivid case color, unblemished screws and all original wood making this Marlin a true keeper.
