Description:
This is the final version of the M1922 gallery practice rifle. This particular rifle has a "B" suffix on the serial number, indicating that it was a retrofitted 1922 MI rifle. This is supported with an apparently hand-engraved I following the MI on the receiver. The left side of the buttstock as Springfield Armory's SA stamp in a rectangle. There is also the P in a circle on the pistol grip. The bolt body has a serial number matching the rifle's serial and the bolt handle is stamped with an NS for nickel steel, and M2 for the model number. The metal, with the exception of the bolt, is parkerized. The barrel is dated 12-26. This rifle is in excellent condition and would be an incredible addition to a US military firearms collection or a rimfire military trainer collection. .22 Long Rifle
