Early production. Barrel is 3.5"" and is marked ""Hopkins & Allen "" with address markings and patent date. Metal has a mostly gray patina with some original nickel plating in protected areas. Bore is very good plus with strong rifling and an area of very minor pitting. Action works perfectly. Folding hammer and gate work properly. Very good overall condition. A desirable model.
