Made in 1936, this truly exceptional and easily the finest L.C. Smith Skeet Special 20ga I have seen or handled, this gun made with 26" steel barrels, beavertail forend, auto ejectors, Hunter One SST, straight grip buttstock with original checkered butt. Made on a Featherweight frame. Nicely engraved in factory original Skeet Special Grade pattern as seen in the photos.
This gun remains in exceptionally choice original condition. The barrels retain more than 98% factory original blue on the barrels and trigger guard. Case color is near 100% with beginning toning at carry point but easily more than 90-95% bold and vivid. Stocks are sound and retain more than 98% of their original finish, checkering is crisp. Bores are brilliant and shiny and the gun is mechanically crisp, tight, and on face.
