Description:
Colt 1911 A1 .45acp Mfg in 1924 ( transition model) the first 1911 a1 year. Fully engraved ,engraver unknown. Beautiful engraving on nearly all of the gun. This piece is in the white and slightly polished. Silver letters on the slide. small piece of siver inlay missing on one letter. The barrel is marked with a letter k as the 1924 's were supposed to. The bore is a little pitted but strong lands and grooves are present . correct hammer, slide stop, barrel, safty, trigger, bushing , sights,mainspring housing correctly checkerd but landyard loop has been taken down. The magazine is in the white. the grips a nice walnut.. This piece shoots very well, mechanically excellent , flawless as all colts usually do. Ser# of this piece is C 138807 mfg 1924. call with any questions. Tom 612 859 5673 need FFL or C+R offers excepted.
