Description:
Browning Superposed Pigeon Grade 28 gauge O/U. Made in 1965 this is a beautiful long tang, round knob field gun in the original box. The gun is completely original and unaltered except the chokes were professionally (maybe by Browning) opened from IC/M to Skeet/Skeet and so marked on the barrel choke designation area and on the box label.
The gun is 99%+ condition in all aspects. If I wasn’t quite certain that it has been at least test fired and if the chokes would not have been altered, I would call it As New In Box!!
Other than the incredible overall appearance of the gun I will say that to me the most impressive part of this gun is the magnificent work the Browning engraver did on the Pigeons…they are nothing short of outstanding!
Dimensions: 14 ¼” LOP, 1 ½” DAC & 2 3/8” DAH with a slight bit of RH cast. Weighs 6 lbs. 10 oz.
