Description:
This Model of 1917 Enfield rifle has been sporterized and is in very good condition. There is light damage to the wood with a small chip missing on the left side next to the receiver. Additionally, there is light denting to the wood. There is light wear to the bluing along the barrel. There are additional markings on the barrel and a light discoloration to on of the wings protecting the front sight. The receiver is lightly discolored indicating that there may have been light rust that was cleaned off. The rifling and bore are clean in spite of the age of the rifle. The bolt cycles smoothly and locks up tight. .30-06 Springfield
