For sale we have a Savage 99 in 300 Savage. Serial number range 415XXX. This 99 is in great condition with plenty of case coloring on the lever. The bluing is nice and the wood has some fine surface scratches. The checkering is still sharp, has brass counter and is a 1941 gun. The butt plate does not match the gun but it fits nice. The only thing wrong with this gun is that someone put these godawful swivels on it and red fingernail polish on the rear sight. The gun is not drilled and tapped.
