Description:
For your consideration, a Winchester Model 43 in .218 Bee. Marketed 1949-57, This example's birth year of 1950 puts it in the second year of production. A wide trigger shoe with a serrated face has been affixed to the trigger. The receiver is topped off with a Bushnell Sportview 4×32 scope in Weaver rings. The left side of the receiver has been drilled and tapped for a side scope mount which is no longer present. A corresponding, shallow cut has been made to the left stock for mounting hardware clearance. The holes for the former mount are now occupied by plug screws. The front sight retains its original hood, while the rear sight dovetail is vacant. .218 Bee
