Description:
After World War II, Yugoslavia took the design of the 98k rifle series and produced its own domestic variant with minor modifications. The M48BO is one of those variants. The M48BO can be differentiated from the M48B, by the lack of crests or other differentiating marks. This rifle was made concurrently with the standard M48B, but was intended for export, either to allow the markings of the country that purchased the rifle, or to allow plausible deniability regarding the origins of the rifle. This specific example is an exquisite example of the M48BO, being in unissued and possibly unfired condition. This rifle comes with a matching bayonet, cleaning kit, sling, and magazine pouch, along with the original shipping box. Along with this, this rifle carries no import marks, and is such a great addition to any eastern european firearms, or mauser collection! 8MM Mauser
