A large number of these models were exported to South Africa in the 1930's. This particular rifle was part of an estate that was in an ATF Form 6 Importation from Cape Town, SA. Wood is solid and shows only a few dings and dents for a gun this age. Mauser logo on right buttstock is still partially visible. Bore is good to excellent. Matching serial numbers on barrel and receiver. The three-point original leather sling is included.
