Description:
Listing a Marlin model 1895 rifle of mine, it's a octagon 24" barrel in the 40/65 Win, caliber. She sports I'd guess the original rear Rocky Mountain sight or Marlin sight of the day, blade front. Rifling is nice as is the bright and shiny bore. The wood appears to be never sanded , meets the metal evenly. I'm selling off some of my collection and this rifle is a great one, only 5304 rifles made between 1895 and 1906. serial number 154981 dates this old girl to 1897 Mfg. I just went out back and put six rounds through her, cycles fine, nice tight rifle. They stopped making these in 1917 and in 1972 came back out with a 1895 rifle ,  those are common.these are not. I priced this rifle at a number that I believe will get you in the door. I ship through USPS so I need a FFL or your C&R regardless if it's an antique , postal service rules. I'll ship and insure it for $40.00 in the lower 48. If you'd like to talk , call me or text me at 920-590-3400, have a fine day
