we have in on consignment, a super condition Smith model 29 with S serial number pre fix. gun rates 97/98% bluing, Timming and lock up are super., and has the Original 'coke' bottle grips. grips also rate 98% cond. it has the 6-1/2" barrel. gun manufactured late 1958 or early 1959, according to computer look up. close inspection of gun, it has a factory stamp showing return in january of 1960 on the left toe of frame . on rear heel, has a R and a empty diamond, so the gun was returned to smith for something, shortly after being sold. A factory letter would tell exactly why it was sent back. by the way, a pair of cokes sold on ebay for over 600.00 ! a solid QUALITY SMITH !! We have been in business for 40 yrs, and do business the old way, PERSON TO PERSON ! ALL guns sold as is with no returns. Insurance purposes. ammo avail at additional costs. Sorry NO box or paperwork..
