Description:
Remington rolling block rifle, chambered in .43 Spanish caliber. Argentine military model of 1879 on a Remington Rolling Block #1 action. Receiver tang is stamped
"E Remington and Sons" along with patent dates. BEAUTIFUL case colors, with excellent blued parts, all 99% condition. Has original cleaning rod, military sights, and bayonet mount, all in 99% condition.
The Buttstock, barell, receiver tang and trigger guard tang all have the same serial number. All wood is in excellent condition. I believe this gun was restored many years ago, and it was high quality work. Barell is 36" long, and has 5 grooves. Rear sight is graduated to 1650 yards, rifle weight is 9.5 pounds.
The bore is a bit rough just forward of the chamber, the remainder of the bore is in excellent condition. Makes a good shooter. I will also include some brass and reloading dies, as shown.
This is an outstanding condition rolling block on the largest action, genuine Remington production. These rifles were made until 1910, therefore, it must ship to your FFL. Shipping is $45 to 48 states.
