Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: This is a JM marked model 336 Marlin carbine built in 1973. This gun is chambered for the popular 30-30 Winchester round. The metal surfaces retain 85+% of the original factory blue, with a little loss around the front sight, and some thinning on the receiver. The bore is excellent in the 20" carbine barrel. The original sight package is intact (less the hood for the front ramp). All the script is clear on the Micro-Groove barrel, as well as the S/N on the tang. The walnut stocks are quite nice, with the original factory finish, and have never had sling lugs added. The butt plate is original, in great shape, with the white line spacers on it and the pistol grip cap. This gun comes with Weaver scope mounts (in the factory D&T holes), and a 4X Tasco scope with clear optics and duplex crosshairs. The action works smooth, and the gun functions properly. These are an excellet and well proven deer rifle, with one of the strongest actions ever built into a lever gun. This is a very nice gun for nearly 48 yers old.
