NEW REPLICA CIVIL WAR CANNON
Cannon is a full size 3 inch Ordinance Rifle on an 1841 No. 1 Carriage. Carriage is constructed of laminated kiln dried oak treated with penetrol and finished with several coats of epoxy primer and epoxy fortified olive drab enamel finish coat. Carriage sits on 56" Amish made wheels. Metal parts are hand forged or fabricated from steel plate. There are no castings or lightweight parts! Metal parts are either powder coated or painted with automotive polyurethane. The barrel is a smooth bore of steel lined cast iron construction. Tube was manufactured by Hern Iron Works of Idaho. Cannon is built to scale off of original drawings for an authentic 1841 No. 1 Carriage and is complete with rammers, worm, spike poles, and prolong. Cannon is newly constructed and has been test fired only. Asking price $14,750. May consider trade for collectible antique handguns or rifles.
