French military carbine manufactured in the 1890's and arsenal refurbished for WWI. Carbine has the 1916 Musketoon modification with larger magazine. Manufactred at the St. Etienne arsenal. Serial numbers are matching. Bore has strong rifling with some frosting by muzzle. Good overall condition.
