A Rare Confederate #563 British Model 1859 Enfield Naval Cutlass-Bayonet Struck By Shrap Metal On The Guard In Fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. It has a hand engraved confederate number "563' on the top of the pommel on one side. The blade on the cutlass is fine throughout. It is maker marked at the ricasso with a knights helmet. It has a fine untouched patina on it and it has never been cleaned. The Guard still retains all of its black finish on it. The top of the guard appears to have been struck by shrap metal. The grip is fine with a nice patina. This Is A Very Fine Example of a Confederate Numbered Model 1859 Enfield Naval Cutlass-Bayonet That Definitel Saw Use In The Civil War. It Would Make A Great Addition To Any Fine Collection!
