This is a rare Winchester Thumb Trigger. Please view the pictures to determine the condition. The split appears to be repaired by a professional.
It has some handling marks as seen in the pictures The model 99 thumb trigger were discontinued in 1923 and were about 75,433 made & none were serial numbered They are rare because they were cheaply made and cheaply sold, with cheap pine or poplar stocks prone to splitting as in this case.These guns are rare & don’t come along very often, so don’t miss out on the chance to own a collectable Winchester rifle.
