Immaculate Model 10-5, in nickel with 2" barrel, original matching box with papers. This is a one-of-a-kind find. This revolver appears to have been made in 1969-70 and bears no evidence of having been fired.
The Model 10 is a six-shot, double-action 38 caliber revolver featuring the S&W K Frame. The legendary Model 10 first produced in 1899 is arguably the most popular handgun of all time with over 6million manufactured in the past 120 years.
The Model 10-5 features a ramped front sight (front and rear sights are fixed). Finely checkered walnut grips with medallion bear minimal evidence of handing nor does the brilliant nickel finish. Acquired by seller from an estate, this is a 'Barn Find' of a firearm and these rarely become available on the market.
