SOLD PENDING FUNDS TO A HUNTER IN NC Unlike most Rugers, the fiddleback figure goes all the way thru on this light sporter in 7X57. Purchased as doaner for a custom project that never happened, the receiver was polished and re-blued to match the barrel perfectly, by an ACGGS member to repair storage damage. If I had not told you, you would never be able to detect it, but that's not the way I conduct myself. Otherwise, the rifle has no handling marks of any kind.
Priced to go into the hands of a Hunter who will return it afield and use it taking game in fair chase, without worrying to keep it "perfect".
If you want a custom engraved No 1, this would be a very good canidate as the faint shadowing on the rt side of the action would disappear in the process and nobody would know it but you and your barber. Why ruin a perfect original action just for your ego; pride goeth before the fall.
