Peabody. (SOLD) Providence machine tool company military Musket. Cal 43 Spanish. 33" barrel with a very good bore. Barrel retains perhaps 50% original blue with fading throughout. Frame hammer, lockplate lower tang and lever are a dull grey patina. The walnut stock and forearm rate very good with a strong inspectors cartouche on left side of wrist. A Crisp "33" rack number on comb. A couple of abrasions on left side of butt, a few scattered digs and scratches. Correct cleaning rod is present. Lock and lever are tight . Serial # 65406.
