Here is a nice old Winchester made in 1890. It appears to be all original (possibly not the rear sight) and in good shape. Metal has turned mostly gray to brown with minimal pitting on the receiver. It does not look to have been cleaned or sanded. Lettering is weak on the barrel and lifter but readable but very readable elsewhere. Bore has some roughness but decent rifling that will still shoot fine, probably a 6-7 on a 1-10 scale. The wood is solid and all there retaining most of the original finish. Excellent wood/metal fit. No cleaning rod in the buttstock. Dust cover original and works as it should. Screwheads are generally nice with a small amount of buggering on the screw holding the left sideplate. Overall a pretty decent old Winchester that won't break the bank and can be shipped directly to you as an antique. $60 shipping and insurance via priority mail to your door.
