This Browning Model 12 20-gauge slide-action Shotgun, designed by David Maass for "Ducks Unlimited", was made in Japan by Browning Arms Company. This Model 12 is highlighted by a receiver bearing an immaculate coin finish displaying gold washed flying ducks, "Maass" and floral engraving on its left side, while the right-side depicts gold washed pheasants flying above “Ducks Unlimited”. The top of the receiver reads "Virginia No.10" in script with a Ducks Unlimited duck head on the trigger bow. This Model 12’s high-quality design also incorporates a walnut high-figured, high-gloss, checkered pistol grip stock with a steel grip cap, a large walnut forend with checkering, and a Browning log buttplate. This shotgun also features a blued finish to a fixed modified choke barrel with a fully ventilated rib and bead front sight. Browning’s logo and the gun’s specs are located on the left-side of the barrel. This gem is accompanied by its original factory box of corresponding serial numbers, equating to a valuable addition to any collection.
