This is a Winchester Model 1894 in 30 W.C.F. with a 26" Octagon Barrel. The front sight appears to be after market.The rear sight appears original but the ears may have been filed down to a low profile.The blue on the barrel and magazine tube is very good rated at 90%.The bore has great rifling and shiny also.The patent date on the barrel is August 21, 1894. The barrel is marked Nickel Steel Barrel-Especially For Smokeless Powder.The receiver and lever have no blue remaining and showing a grey patina.The wood is good with no cracks or extra holes but there are quite a few dings,scratches and finish wear. I rate the wood at 75%.The butt plate is crescent with a top tang.The butt plate also has no blue and showing a grey patina.The serial number is 330424. Own a piece of American History manufactured at the famous Winchester Factory in New Haven,Conn.,USA in the year "1905".I will ship to a FFL or C&R within the Continental US only.
