Description:
For your consideration, a Colt Single Action Army in .45 Colt. This is a commemorative released in 1961 in celebration of the 125th anniversary of the founding of Samuel Colt's first arms company, the Patent Arms Manufacturing Company of Paterson, New Jersey, in 1836. Gold plating on the grip frame and select small parts contracts handsomely with the blued finish of the balance of the piece. Prospective owners should expect minor thinning to the plating of the grip frame, dried original packing grease, and a faint turn line on the cylinder. Featuring a 7.5" "cavalry" barrel and walnut grips, this piece would make an excellent addition to the collection of any Colt aficionado. Included is the Colt-branded wooden presentation case. .45 Colt
