On Hold Sale Pending. Needham 58 caliber conversion of Bridesberg civil war musket with the unusual side opening. The lock is marked Bridesberg 1863. The side opening mechanism works as it should. The full length barrel has both front and rear sights. The full length 3 band walnut stock is excellent but has been replaced. All metal parts are in good condition with a light Grey brown patina. Both sling swivels are present but the cleaning rod is missing. Overall a nice example of a hard to find antique firearm. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
