Description:
Manufactured in April of 1944, this rifle is one of the Final Block of 20,000 RockOla units (out of 6,221,220 M1 Carbines Prduced) . The Rock-Ola M1 Carbine is great representative piece of WW2 history. The Rock-Ola M1 Carbines are considerably more desirable with fewer produced than other manufacturers, and their ties to the Rock-Ola Manufacturing Company which produced jukeboxes and furniture. This M1 retains Cosmoline grease on the reciever metal parts. The receiver, barrel, bolt, and most internal parts are manufactured by Rock-Ola. The "Star FAT 74" marked stock is in good condition with no cracks and shows consistent wear for its age. The Rock-Ola marked barrel is original to the receiver and is non-dated, which is correct for barrels of this vintage. The muzzle erosion gauges at a "2" and the bore is bright with strong rifling. The barrel sports perioid correct barrel band/bayonet lug.
