Description:
Remington Vest Pocket Single Shot Pistol in the scarce Caliber .30 Rimfire. These were also called Remington Saw Handle Derringers. Nice screws and pins, sharp markings and checkering on the hammer and breech block. 3 1/2" Half Octagon Barrel. Good barrel address. Original finish has worn to a mixture of silver to a soft grey patina. Original Rosewood grips retain 75% original varnish with no chips, cracks or repairs. Hammer works in both full and half cock positions. Bore has good rifling...a little frosty down in the grooves with a few scattered pits. Good overall. Very respectable looking Remington Spur Trigger pocket pistol which would have been a competitor the the Colt Thuer Pistol and the National and Moore Deringer Models of the 1860s and early 1870's. Antique, No FFL required under Federal Law. No sales to NJ, NYC, DC, Chicago. Sorry, no international sales. $12.00 shipping.
