Description:
Excellent overall condition with custom National Match type arsenal restoration. Receiver manufactured April 1944. SA "11 64" barrel. "NM" marked op rod, rear sight, and windage knob. Bedded stock, "RRAC/4-65" arsenal marked receiver leg. Attributed to the work of David W. Ransberger, USMC Gunnery Sergeant, armorer and competitive shooter, and in civilian life owner of Cal Custom Guns in Fallbrook, California, where the work was reportedly performed. A set of DCM sales paperwork from 1985 is also included.
