The Standard Manufacturing Co. STD-15 upper receiver, like the STD-15 lower receiver, is entirely manufactured in-house to the most exacting tolerances and to the highest quality control levels. The STD-15 upper begins with a 7075T6 aluminum forging and is machined on the very best aerospace machinery in the industry. At every step of the manufacturing process, each upper receiver is quality checked before continuing to the next operation.
