Excellent condition Marlin Model 39-A, caliber 22 short, long and long rifle rimfire, serial number G11240, made 1950, with standard features of blued finish, walnut stocks with the famous Marlin Bullseye in the toe line of the butt stock, plain pistol grip, shotgun butt with Marlin-logo plastic butt plate, 24" round barrel, full tubular magazine, take down frame, ramped front sight (missing the hood), open rear sight (missing the elevator), receiver drilled and tapped for scope and peep sights.
CONDITION: Grades NRA Modern Fine, having just minor use marks to the stocks, no splits or cracks, no extra holes, never sanded or refinished, with some nice "extra grain" on the right side of the butt stock, mint bore, tight and fully functioning take down feature, 90% original bright factory blue on all metal surfaces, properly-functioning half cock safety, having Weaver base, rings and Weaver Marksman 4X scope installed, clear optics, no damage to the crosshairs. Just an overall nice, early Marlin 39A rifle to have fun shooting and add to your collection.
