"Serial Number 62291. Made in 1856. 36 caliber with a 7 ½" barrel. The metal is nice and sharp with a dark gray patina. Cylinder has very good scene; number is non matching. Cartouche cannot be seen on grips. This gun is all matching with the exception of the cylinder. Action works perfectly. This is a rare US martial Colt 1851 Navy issued to the US army, also referred to by collectors as an “Army Navy"
