Description:
Introduced in 1878. The rare, non-standard 5 inch barrel has the one-line address on the rib and "44 S&W CTG" on
the left side .
The Caliber marked New Model No. 3's are rarely encountered, and the standard barrel length was 6 1/2 inches.
Pinned blade front sight and a notch rear sight on the catch. The matching serial number 35154 is stamped on the butt, rear cylinder face, barrel and latch. Nickel finish with casehardened hammer and trigger guard. Fit with Factory hard rubber grips.
In Fine Condition. The revolver retains 80% + Original Nickel finish, the grips are excellent with some very scattered minor handling marks and overall crisp checkering. The bore is clean and in excellent condition. Mechanically fine throughout.
